Hey, all: I am new to this site. I am a firefighter and EMT. I am also a previous refugee from the corporate world.

I love my job; it's the best job I've ever had. But due to an unforeseen event, I am finding myself needing to move back into the desk world. If I must get off the truck and into an office, I'd really like the position to be EMS related.

Do any of you know about any types of EMS admin jobs that are in-office, besides dispatch and call-taker? There must be so many I haven't heard of!

Please shoot me a line if you've got some info on this for me! Thanks!:)

The 8-5 M-F spots we have here are: EMS Director, The Big Man in Charge...; Clinical Coordinator, in charge of keeping certs up to date, setting up CE classes, etc.; Operations Supervisor, in charge of scheduling and day-to-day general operations; Logistics/Materials Supervisor, keeping track of and ordering supplies; Billing/Finances Supervisor, in charge of billing of pts and payroll. Those are the the main spots (directly under EMS) that we have here.
