Hello, my name is Anna. I just completed my emergency medical responder course in British Columbia. I am looking into finishing my paramedic school in the states. I have already contacted nremt looking into getting certified as EMT-B as some schools in North Carolina require it. I have a couple questions.
1. Is there any Canadian who did their schooling in the USA who could possible give me any advice? As the process seems overwhelming
2. If I complete my training in the states. Will this be beneficial in finding a job?
3. I would start off on a student visa in the states. If I was wanting to stay and work in the states, what are my options for other visas? Will a paramedic service help sponsor me for a green card?
