Pretty cool.

I've had a fiberoptic bronchoscope passed down nasally while awake and entirely unanesthetized. It's uncomfortable, but not painful. It was also pretty cool to watch.

I think I'd pass on the intubation, though.
 
Wow, that's pretty cool. We're currently in our airway management section and this video definitely makes you think...
 
Brown got nasally intubated after the anaesthetist gave him lots of fentanyl and diprivan.

Didn't stop it from hurting for a week afterward :D

Big tube hurts more than little camera. :)

I've only ever been truly intubated while unconscious, and never nasally. It always left my throat feeling awful.
 
Also, if you notice, the first thing he did was scope his pharynex and spray it with lidocaine.
 
It's too bad he made himself so vulnerable to a lawsuit. One of you is sure to try this and kill yourself from laryngospasm and he'll end up wiping butts in a Nursing Home because he didn't place the disclaimer "Do not try this at home!"
