AMR Riverside

I just wanted to know how the company is running out in Riverside. What's the process of getting on a 911 car vs an IFT? Is it hard to get hired? I was invited to test and am just trying to dig up some more RECENT information about the company. Thanks!

From what I've been told you have to bid on shifts. If you want a BLS/IFT unit then you bid with another EMT. If you want a 911/ALS then you bid with a medic.

It's not hard at all to get hired by AMR. You just have to wait until a spot opens. I don't believe Riverside does any kind of skill testing.
