AMR Employment Testing

About to apply for an EMT-B job with AMR San Diego and they require that you take a test. Anyone have any advice on what specifically to study for?

Also, on a side note, can you use the same H-6 print out from the DMV for several job applications or do they want an original? It's Friday night and I gotta get it Monday first thing and didn't think ahead to ask them about that.

I was hired by AMR in Los Angeles 10 years ago, and the test I took was basically on the same lines as the NREMT exam. If you passed the nremt then you can pass the AMR test.

Also I do believe that if the H-6 print out is less then 3 months old then you can use it. But it may have to be an origional, and since Monday is a holiday the DMV might not be open.

Thanks! I did pass the nremt, but it was a pain. And you're right....Monday is a holiday. Darn...

It is just like the NREMTB but easier, and they have you do a skills thing like put an o2 bottle together, use a BVM, ect.
