I recently moved to Miami and am interested in enrolling in the EMT basic course at American Medical Academy. However, before I sink any money into it, I was wondering wherether anyone familiar with this school had any feedback on whether or not it's worth the money. I found a few reviews online (which were not very detailed) and nothing current

I went to this school back in 2010 I basically picked this school because it was the only one I found that had one day a week for the Emt basic course that was convienient for me, basically the teachers tell you what you need to study, study it pass and so forth,nothing is spoon fed it's mostly on your determination to pass the only thing I would've liked perhaps was a bit more time practicing some of the hands on skills a bit more like bandaging and splinting,But well the course is about 150 hours so it is what it is but all in all I had a good experience.
