I'm going to be starting my EMT-A program in January, and all signs are pointing to me being accepted at BOTH schools I applied to: Alberta Health and Safety Training Institute, as well as Professional Medical Associates. If that's correct and I do get into both programs, I'm not 100% sure which one I'll choose. Does anyone have some advice?
I like AHSTI's class schedule and the fact you get significantly more in-person class time. PMA has a very good reputation however, and it would be an easy transition to doing my EMT-P there as well in a few years.
I really wish that ACP released the EMR/EMT/EMT-P pass/fail rates broken down by school.
