I'm a basic, trying to get in at a Portland OR ER as a tech. It seems like they're interested in me, but I need some sort of qualification to start IVs before I can get hired. Faster is better.
I've looked into PCC's phlebotomy program, but it's two semesters, which is longer than my entire EMT course. Any suggestions for relatively condensed AEMT, IV, or other types of courses that would teach me how to get a line in someone? Northern California, Southern Washington, and Idaho are also an option, if the program was something I could do in a week or so.
