Advice for preparing for EMT School

Hey all,
I am enrolled to take me EMT course in the fall and am real excited to start my life long dream career. I am new here but love reading all the post. My question is, based of what you know about the EMT course, what can I do do prepare for it. I want to go into it feeling comfortable and ready.

my advise is for after the school.

make sure that there will be work for you after you graduate.

and have some customer service experience on your resume.

the school part is pretty easy.

itll help if you know basic anatomy(think high school level).

honestly i went into it pretty blind, and found it to be much easier than i expected.

Read the book your class is going to use. Like Troy said, EMT is pretty simple and straightforward.

I would recommend getting a college A&P course (along with the basic sciences) before moving to paramedic, though.
