Has anyone had the opportunity to volunteer/work down in Richmond, VA?
I was planning to start volunteering either this month or next at West End Volunteer Rescue Squad, and was wondering if anyone could tell me what it was/is like.
Thanks for your response and you're right.
Initially I was under the impression that for testing purposes we were allowed to backtrack and verbalize if we accidentally forgot something as long as we didn't go over our 10 minutes. So I was a little taken back when the evaluator who was also one...
Drank a little too much and have felt like :censored::censored::censored::censored: the entire day.
Regrets? Ha...I could be here all day listing those, but a few big ones..
*Getting myself in a relationship that I knew I wasn't ready for and now it's at the point where I'm not sure what to...
Thanks y'all for the replies, it was a pretty important thing to get forget, so I guess I can understand being failed for it *Sighs*
It would be really nice if I was able to retake it on the same day, but we were not told whether we passed or failed until two weeks later.

I passed everything but the Medical station because I didn't say...
Hiya, ya sound a lot like me, heh.. I don't know where in VA you are, but I took my state exam on the 16th (Pretty sure I failed the trauma section too,I believe I forgot O2 of all the things!)
Anyways, I took mine at the Springfield Campus (Northern Virginia Community College), I asked about...
I'm a little confused about the NREMT and the state exams.
Why don't all EMTs have take the NREMT? I just took the VA state exam, so does that mean I have to take another state's exam if I wanted to move? Does taking the NREMT exempt you from taking state exams?
Took state exam and practicals on the 14th, won't find out my results for about 2 weeks.
I'm pretty sure I passed the written exam but I really screwed up practicals.
I got the K.E.D. for the random skills-I'm sure I made every point so that wasn't bad. I don't know why I got so nervous on...
