How many of you are allowed to perform a surgical airway? How many have actually done one? I'm just curious because my EMT-B instructor was one of the guys responsible for getting surgical airways put in the TN EMT-P scope of practice. That made me curious as to how many other states allow it.

Does anyone know of anything fun to do? I'm going there for my fiances cousins wedding and we will be there for a few days. Looking for something to fill in some time.

What kind of boots does everyone where (if your service even requires you to where boots)? I have Itasca steel toed 8 inch top.

So my first (and only) ride out for this semester is next Sunday. I know all the stuff I was supposed to learn, and think I am ready for it, but I havent ever even seen the inside of an ambulance. lol Anybody have any advice?
