    Paramedic vs RN

The NCLEX has ACLS built into it as a portion of the test battery.

    Sedation Deaths

Using a medication off label might be generally accepted but where it goes wrong there is strict liability merely because the FDAs failure to approve the medication for that purpose is considered to put a reasonable practitioner on notice that the medication might not be safe and effective for...

    WWYD: Butane inhalation & ignition

Sure - you'd never want to try something that's a feature built into the device...unless of course you can somehow find a way to use duct tape and a garden hose to fix the problem...

    Thoughts on this EKG?

The weight of the patient in pounds together with low amplitude suggests an electrode problem barring the use of defibrillator pads.

Who clamps their tubs before transfering to a different vent? (CCT Transfers)

If they're really that confused, then perhaps you should draw them a diagram, or perhaps bring in the entire one way street traffic sign after having removed it from your favorite bodily orifice.

    How do you treat this.

Aren't we mighty presumptuous in a field that favors neither assumptions or presumptions? Looks like someones insurance premiums are about to double once I find out who they are. 😈

Who clamps their tubs before transfering to a different vent? (CCT Transfers)

Thats because there isn't one specifically for that- rather you go down to the home Depot.

    Sedation Deaths

Having looked it up Ketamine is in fact not FDA approved for use for sedation, but rather is approved for use as a surgical anesthetic agent and just gained approval this year for surgical Pain control. This in turn makes it an off label use which in turn creates a legal presumption of...

    accountability of controlled substance

You're entitled to your opinion, but I would highly suggest you keep it to yourself unless you wish to have problems due to being disrespectful.

    How do you treat this.

It also depends upon medication compliance, whether you have a surgical patient, and exactly how much you want to shift INR - Xaralto is long acting compared to warfin, as are most of the others - and they're also said to be somewhat more difficult to reverse as compared to warfin.

    Sedation Deaths

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it still considered an off label use?

    Paramedic vs RN

Mind you I'm looking at things from the medicolegal aspect of it noting the weight of stare decisis as to the federal opinions such that it merely seems to be a rather obvious take on it., though not necessarily correct.

    Sedation Deaths

First of all - with all due respect - don't make assumptions about ones knowledge merely because they posess a new account. Secondly, after the Maya Kowalski case and given the nonsense of using ketamine off label for the treatment of PTSD as has been the recent trend, the legal system is...

    Thoughts on this EKG?

Looks like a fat roll might have pinched off an electrode or a cable somewhere.

    WWYD: Butane inhalation & ignition

This is where the King has its advantage - the ability to pass the ETT through it by design if I recall correctly.

    accountability of controlled substance

Given that the FDA and the CDC has effectively prohibited multiuse vials at the point of care due to biohazard reasons, it seems that this is rather superfluous.

    Paramedic vs RN

Interesting, as based upon my research the federal courts view the RN license as superior to a paramedic license under Daubert v. Merril Dow Pharm. - such that the states really have nothing to say about it.
