If you're already planning on moving to NV at some point, might as well start sooner than later. Pretty good job opportunities out there with decent pay compared to cost of living. Scope is also pretty good, but I am not at all familiar with NY protocols.

Impossible to say, definitely a case by case basis. Sometimes breakaway flat, backboard, stair chair, sheet carry, G/S carry, or bring the gurney in. Additionally, I don't see the big deal of bring the power gurney into homes, up a flight of normal sized stairs. Obviously this adds more...

This is how my protocols work as well. Additionally, only if the PEA is less than 20/min do we discontinue. But we also still give atropine on PEA/Asystole :/ (though not right now due to the atropine shortage)

So 72 one week, 96 the next? That's a lot of scheduled ot if that's correct. They don't have a system where a PT employee is going to move into that spot and I will take the PT spot? Any idea on medic starting pay there? Thanks for the input

Are all the amr divisions out there 12s only?

If the pain is great, and the pt truly looks like they're suffering a great deal, I will call and ask for pain mgmt (can't give it before base contact for me). These people are generally in pain all the time to a certain degree (from my experience), and would need to be in severe pain or...
