I'm in second semester EMTIV. You are correct on cooling the PT but on the multiple choice you 2 answers that could be correct and 2 that are wrong. The 2 possible correct answers are not the best options we would go for in the field.
I totally agree. I am currently in EMT IV second semester at a community college in Tn. our entire second semester is hands on with the exception of Fisdap exams and clinical.
Does anyone have any opinions on these EMT classes that are offered online. Is this as good as actually going to class? I have a couple of friends that are taking this online with a company called Percom out of Texas but we are located in Tennessee.
Our first semester my instructor gave us the exams that he wrote himself. They were incredibly hard. In the second semester we have to do skill checkoffs, IV checkoffs, clinical, and this FISCRAP!!
My instructor says we have to make a 80 on the fisdap test to pass the second semester. We have our first test tomorrow night, the first 4 test are 10% each and the fisdap final exam is 50%. Are the fisdap test hard? Anyone have any advice on how to study for these test?
The AIS was originally designed to stratify victims of motor vehicle crashes. On its own it's not designed to provide any outcome prediction. That is exactly what the Glasgow coma scale was designed to do when you convert it to trauma.
