    RC Health Services online AEMT?

After you complete the didactic, 3-4 days at their site in Texas for skills and then after completing that you do a trip or trips to Houston, Dallas or San Antonio for 96 hours of clinicals. If I get the 911 gig I applied for I feel like the medics would be pretty supportive in mentoring me...

Why EMS degree could be the standard come 2025

Maybe we run in different circles? I'm just pointing out that with changing patient populations those are areas I feel, at least in the areas I've worked, where training/education has lacked and would be beneficial as part of a degree. As someone else pointed out getting away from a purely...

Why EMS degree could be the standard come 2025

Why EMS degree could be the standard come 2025

I'm not disagreeing with staffing issues but the attitude that pre-hospital medical staff don't need any more education or a higher degree of education is ridiculous. As was stated earlier, the makeup and support for EMS varies so widely across the US it's hard to imagine how you could...

    Hybrid AEMT

https://www.rchealthservices.com/index.html I just started looking myself. I'm looking at that program. I'd have to look at the email they sent but IIRC its around 6-8 months to complete. Once the online is done you go out to Texas to interview with the program staff and do skills. Then you'll...

First as a student was a fall from standing with clavicle fx. First IFT was a bari lift assist. First 911 as a cadet was an OD. First 911 after being released was a full arrest.

    Job hunting (Georgia)

Find your state EMS page, it should have a listing of all agencies that are liscensed to provide medical transport. From there just Google and see if you can find a page for that agency and an employment section. I've found a lot of EMS agencies post job announcements in Facebook, so its...
