    Hey Harold, I am wondering about your ride along in Medellin, Colombia. I'm on my way there this Nov and would love to do some volunteering or ride alongs with their department. Can you let me know how you got involved?

    Hi Anthony33. Sorry for the delay. While in Medellin, I walked into a large fire station one day, where I was well received by very motivated firemen, one in particular, who arranged my ride alongs the next weekend. I did two nightshift on a rapid response vehicle. I didn't manage to get onto the ambulance because they were already taking a student paramedic with them.
