I agree! Nobody should be allowed to volunteer to help somebody in a medical emergency. Only professionals who are trained, and paid have the knowledge and skills to take care of a pt.

+1 the ethical problem to me is that we are giving medications that have not been rigorously studied. and the studies that do exist don't show any improved neurological outcome.
