Yes they all follow the curriculum but look at it this way in my medic class, we are using Nancy Carolines book. It is horrible to read and follow as our teacher agress. We all went out and bought brady medic books and have had a better success at class since switching, I hate Nancy!!

I know that the practical portion of the National Registry is now not needed after you pass your course, when you take your final before you finish your basic or medic that will count torwards your nr now.

Don't worry about it, I am on my 3rd try the 1st time I took it I didn't study at all and it showed, the 2nd time I took it I missed by a few questions. Look at it this way you have 2 more tries don't get frustrated like I am lol.

First off good thing you have a brady book, that book is by far the best out there, it's laid out perfectly. Pay attention in class, highlight key information to make the chapter easy to read over and you will be all set good luck.

Thank you for the pointers, I think I have been thinking a little more medic than basic when taking my test. My medic teacher currently was also my basic teacher and he is helping me out quite a bit.

I failed at 70 and 72 but you can pass with 70 questions.

I need some pointers on taking the test and what necessaraly to study, I failed because I need to study a little more airway and trauma any suggestions? I take all the tests online and pass along with a few workbooks I dont get why I cant pass this test. I am in my paramedic class right now...
