    Rally Packing List

I searched, but couldn't find anything close enough to what I need. I'm a volunteer which means I carry my own supplies and get a restock from the ambulance if I use anything, but it varies from event to event. This is my first time doing medical for this particular event where they don't supply...

"Prehospital Emergency Care" Textbook (Mistovich, Hafen, Karren)

Oops, yep I have the Mosby 4th edition, I missed that you listed the authors. Geez, I thought I was way behind, haha.

    NREMT ugh

I failed my first time from overthinking the questions. Just remember when you get to each question ABCs. Once I did that my test ended at around 40 questions and I passed. Just go through your ABCs before anything else and you'll do great!

"Prehospital Emergency Care" Textbook (Mistovich, Hafen, Karren)

Holy crap, I took my Basic class in fall 2010 and I was required to get the 4th edition. If it changes that rapidly I would get the new one just to be sure you're setting yourself up for success.

    Are you kidding?

I had 3 months between the end of my class and my test, but that was due to failing it the first time. I just looked over the chapters and kept thinking to myself "ABCs"... It was a breeze the second time! Just remember, when in doubt go to your ABCs.

    Preschool aged speach

I've done 1st-4th grade presentations for my cousin's classes as a Soldier. For me they didn't shy away from some pretty difficult questions, but then came out with ones like "what are your favorite kinds of pants" haha. Just go in there and show them how cool EMS is! And I agree on bringing...

    EMS Abroad?

I'll tell you what far wiser people have told me when I started asking about this, start locally. I see you're in WA, stop in at your local Red Cross and see if they have any local disaster relief programs. Or if you want some occasional excitement look around for local SAR groups. WA is a lot...
