42 yo M...unresponsive, no cardiac hx,wife said he had had chest pain during exercise for the last few days and planned to see his Dr tomorrow.Dispatch update enroute to bystander doing CPR.We had 2 trucks consisting of 2 paramedics,and 2 EMTs,also 1 First responder and an off duty EMT.Worked...

I had a full arrest a few nights ago that turned out to be an old friend of mine....it happens.Gotta love small towns.

I carry a Streamlight Stylus Pro,in my shirt pocket and a Fenix E12 in a pants pocket.Both of them are great and run on easy to find AA batteries. Also recently bought a Olight S20R that I use at home a lot.

Around here its like this EMT = EMT, however sometimes youll here Basic or Tech also Paramedics = Medics

That will vary greatly according to your location,just around at your local Fire departments. Being an EMT already should give you a great advantage already...Best of luck !!

That sounds like a fantastic program,and I hope it works well. However,being a political issue ,I can see it taking many years to implement and work its way throughout the country.

Last time I looked ,I was in the 70s.....and passed...got my results by 10 AM ,the following day
