We use for post cardiac arrest hypotension that is not improving (<70 SBP).
We also use it for resistant symptomatic bradycardia.
Dose 2-10mcg per min (Adult dose).
So we use 2 amps (2mg) into 200mls which equals 10mcg per ml.

I was asked a question about the difference between BiPAP and BIPAP?? I have searched and couldn't find any answers.
I am not sure if there any difference.
I was told that BIPAP is a registered name belonging to Drager?
Another idea was that BiPAP is non-invasive and BIPAP is...
Basically look at it as every 2 minutes something happens, either shock/give a drug.
So it goes like this:
(unwitnessed arrest)
CPR for 2 minutes
analyse rhythm (if shockable) deliver shock
resume CPR for 2 minutes
analyse rhythm (if shockable) deliver shock
administer adrenaline...
I have got two different references here relating to spinal injury. I am trying to work out which level of injury would be accompanied by HYPOTENSION and BRADYCARDIA.:unsure:
The one say says T1 and the other T5?
Any help or pointer to references would be appreciated.
