My course started out with about 40 people. At the end, there were about 12 - 15 people in the course. 1 failed the final exam and was prevented from taking the state exam.

Just got an email stating we do not feel your qualifications meet our needs at this time. I was a leader in my EMT class. Is it this difficult to get into an EMS job? I've seen quite a few from my school in uniform already. Just my luck!

Hello All, I am a new EMT and have just applied to two companies. I don't have any field experience and took my exam in May, results in June. SeniorCare has gotten back to me, but what do these pre-hire assessments contain? I am sure someone has information on this.
