This was not too far from where I live. I was under the impression that minors could not sign a refusal and must be transported as implied consent. At least thats what I was taught in school.

I would think there would be a negligence suit in place. They had a formal duty to act and should have done everything in their power to help the pt. Even if they did not have the proper equipment to administer aid, they could have assessed the pt and at least been a bit helpful if at all...

Over here is pretty good, there are a lot that barely passed their cert and they dont give a damn. They usually get canned before too long because they dont know how to do their job. That's good for me though because im gonna need a job soon :)

wow apparently the field sucks out west. Here in NC there are medical jobs everywhere.

I'm not saying I do it all the time. There were one or two times where I was out of shape and pain was going to be the deciding factor if I passed or failed. I never use analgesics when training and I don't recommend doing so. Like you said, you don't want to mask pain especially when...

I work full time and I'm in class right now. They best thing to do is familiarize yourself with the material in the book before it's covered in class and study study study. If you are really motivated and pay attention, you shouldn't have a problem. BTW I used to live in NPR back in the day...
