Hey all I was wondering if anybody had any insight on the testing process, or what to study for testing with Lake ems? It's been a while but I've tested with them once before never heard anything but I'm quite familiar with testing with Lee and Collier county, are the test similar?

Yep August 22nd. It will be my second time testing. Warning to most this test is mainly built for an emt in medic school or a beginning medic. Study hard folks.

No I haven't heard anything on the test either, besides what's on the website. I work at AMR/Medics Ambulance in Broward and told a few buddies of mine about the position but I don't think anyone caught it. Hopefully it's not as much competition like for Lee County it was like 290 something...

Yeah me too, I'm going to keep a look out for Collier and Manatee County also.

Didn't make the cut by one point, surprisingly the cutoff off this time was a 77.

I've been An emt since September of last year, and I'm pretty sure at least a year of experience with AMR should be enough for the position. Exactly lol if it could just be in my scope of knowledge and not challenging that'd be great, if that was the case everybody would work for them.

I'm just hoping the test will be straightforward not one of those questions where it seems like all the answers could be right.

Lol I meant for the guys at my job, I figured at least 200 people would be testing on the 13th. I guess the best way to prepare is taking as many mock Medic test you can get your hands on, and even with that it'll still probably be challenging but I guess that's the point...hoping for the best...
