Hey all I was wondering if anybody had any insight on the testing process, or what to study for testing with Lake ems? It's been a while but I've tested with them once before never heard anything but I'm quite familiar with testing with Lee and Collier county, are the test similar?
Yep August 22nd. It will be my second time testing. Warning to most this test is mainly built for an emt in medic school or a beginning medic. Study hard folks.

No I haven't heard anything on the test either, besides what's on the website. I work at AMR/Medics Ambulance in Broward and told a few buddies of mine about the position but I don't think anyone caught it. Hopefully it's not as much competition like for Lee County it was like 290 something...
I also will be testing on the 10th. The only way I'm preparing is a few emt books I found in Barnes & noble, I would definitely recommend going up there and find some good study material. I also tested with lee county a few months ago too, got a 75 so I didn't advance to the next stage. It was...
I've been An emt since September of last year, and I'm pretty sure at least a year of experience with AMR should be enough for the position. The ems agency I'm testing with its Lee County ems and I'm sure there will be at least 200 people testing for 9 positions, so I guess I didn't really enjoy...
Hello all,
In about two weeks I'll be testing for a EMT-B position with a county to join they're ems agency in Florida. I was wondering if anybody could recommend sites, books, pdf files that helped prepare them for a written exam. I have been studying non stop with my emt textbook, searching...
Lol yeah these test are pretty hard, I've tested with orange county, brevard, Lake ems, volusia, Martin scoring in the high 80's it's been extremely frustrating but I'm thankful I already have a job, but I'm really betting on this one, I've been practicing scenarios with guys from my job, and...
Lol I meant for the guys at my job, I figured at least 200 people would be testing on the 13th. I guess the best way to prepare is taking as many mock Medic test you can get your hands on, and even with that it'll still probably be challenging but I guess that's the point...hoping for the best...
Hey guys I couldn't help but post, I'll be testing on the 13th also, I've been through a few hiring processes but never with Lee County, Seems like it's pretty straight forward though, Does anyone know how many they plan on hiring this time around?? Seems like not to many people caught this...
Hey all! Orlando, Florida here, Hope you guys are having way better luck then I did looking for a emt-b position I've yet to find anything and I've had my nremt since Sept, but hopefully my luck changes when I finish fire 2 in about 3 weeks...I've applied to all the Florida hospitals, all the...
I actually applied to Lakeems right after you posted and they said the position is no longer available but thanks for the heads up, I'll keep an eye out for them I live near universal but I have a car so distance isn't to big a problem for me but Man I applied to all the Florida hospitals, all...
Thanks for the help, both of them weren't hiring as expected but I did a little more digging and created a account with Rural to try and receive info on any openings and I called american they told me all I can do is fill out an interest card which I plan to do tomorrow, One other idea I thought...
