It used to be, I certainly remember being told that aswell, but the tutor on my last update training stated it's now "with caution" rather than an absolute contra.

What may help your case is undertaking some advanced driving training before applying. It shows that you have recognised your mistakes and have proactively done something about it :)

Surely the old FAST test would have picked up on that.. sure, it's crude but it might have been enough to have set alarm bells ringing?

Brown is quite right, Sir! What he possibly hasn't made clear is that there is a caution attached to using NPA's with head injuries but it's certainly not a contraindication.

OK, can't swear to the accuracy of this one as i didn't hear it personally but my colleague swears it happened! Not sure if you guys do "stand-by's" where you end up away from station because the computerised despatch system works out a probability for the location of the next emergency call...
