I've got a quick question about EMT cert reciprocity between CA and New York State. According to this link the requirements for reciprocity state the applicant must have taken state recognized practical skills and written examinations within the past three years, which I have. However, because CA only issues certs for 2 years

, mine has expired recently. NYS issues for 3 years. So basically I'm wondering if you guys think I'll qualify for direct reciprocity or not because my CA cert is expired.
If I can't get certification based on my state card I can probably still get a letter to take a NYS refresher course (which I will need to do eventually) because my NREMT doesn't expire until next year.
Anyone have any experience moving from CA to NYS?
