    Cincinnati area Paramedic jobs?

Thanks for the responses. We just put in an offer on a house in Hebron, Kentucky. Looks like AMR in Erlanger has medic openings. Anyone know anything about that operation; pay rates, 911 or IFT, system status management or quarters posting, etc? Medic550 what do you mean by the privates do...

    Cincinnati area Paramedic jobs?

Hi everyone, My fiancé and I are moving out to Cincinnati in the summer of 2017. Does anyone recommend any good places to work as a Paramedic in the general Cincinnati/Dayton area, either on a 911 ambulance or in the hospital preferably in the ER. Currently I work as a 911 Paramedic in a very...

Best North Carolina EMS system to work for??

I'm currently working as a transport Paramedic in a busy 911 EMS system in the Bay Area, CA. I'm thinking about possibly relocating in a few years to NC, specifically the Raleigh area, and was wondering which systems are desirable to work for in NC? I have heard the protocols in NC in general...

    AMR Boulder vs. Rural/Metro Colorado

As someone who has worked for both companies, I would strongly recommend working for AMR versus RM. Do a Google search on RM and look at a lot of the operations around America where the employee workforce is upset at RM for various things. I don't know how the RM ops is where you are talking...

Has anyone used the JB Learning study prep material? If so how did that help you prepare for the exam?

    Protransport or Royal?

Don't commute to Richmond from San Jose for PT-1. They will likely give you 15-20 hours a week, no where near 40. They will put you on the schedule last minute, the night before, and expect you to come in the next morning at 6,7,8am whatever the case may be. If you live in SJ just go to work at...

    Protransport or Royal?

Aprz, I can't help but disagree with most all of your points. I'm glad you like working for Pro but there are soooo many problems with that place. The employee turnover is incredible there, people come and go every day. First off, the work schedule screen that was posted, that must be towards...

    EMS Tips for young people.

The Bay Area is so competitive that landing a EMS job at 19 is realistically going to be difficult, but not impossible. I live in the South Bay and can share some input. I would recommend that you apply to every single ambulance company that you are willing to commute to. Concentrate on IFT...

    Priority1 pay rates?

I know another IFT company, in the Bay Area, that I used to work for pays $9 an hour plus $10 per call. It's pretty bad pay, but the companies know there are a bunch of people willing to work it to gain experience.
