I got my EMT-B earlier this year and was planning to apply to the ATCEMS academy. However it's been closed for applicants since February, so my current plan is to work IFT. Anyone have any insight into what's going on with hiring at ATCEMS, or any opinions on AMR vs Acadian? TIA

What’s going on?
They’ve had applications open year round over the last two years; they’re definitely not fully staffed but alot closer. I’d guess applications will open mid summer for academy start date of Jan 2026.

Also, the entire city is over budget so I’m sure they are being more strategic about the next hiring process.
