What certs can i get??

I start my emt class next semester. I was under the impression that all certs could be taken without pre-reqs because none of the courses ive checked out stated so. So what useful courses can i knock out before school with no pre reqs

Most programs incorporate a CPR certification into the class so I would check before taking it.
