Hi All -

I haven't posted much during the past four months of EMT school so I thought I would give an update on my training.

I just finsihed the EMT-B course this week. Doing it at night while working full time doesn't leave much time for anything else

The practical skills testing was on Tuesday night. I had the final exam for the course (which was taught through the local community college at the Fire Training Academy) Thursday Night and last night I took the NC State certification exam.

I'm glad it's over but now I have to wait for the results and I hate doing that. We were told it might take as long as 30 days to get the results by mail (due in part to the Christmas holidays) but were given a phone # to call in about a week to check the status of our exam/certification so hopefully I'll know sooner than 30 days.

Anyway... I'll let you know the outcome when I find out

good luck! i'm sure that you passed! i know what you mean about being busy! we just finished our class, i was working 2 jobs and taking the class, too. phew, is it great to have it behind me...except we are not taking the written test for another month, THEN we'll have to wait for our results!

Yes! I Did It.

What a relief.... I called the state office of EMS and learned that I passed the test.

I am officially a EMT-B in NC until 12-21-2010. ^_^
