Hello all. I'm new to the forum, and recently graduated from Paramedic school. I now have a job!!! but will not start orientation until the beginning of October. I have been a basic for 5 years in an urban setting with long transport times, so I felt really comfortable running BLS calls. However, I am starting work for a relatively busy city. I am super excited and nervous at the same time.

Since I have a month of free time before work starts, I thought I would ask if anyone has any good reading recommendations for continuing brain function after paramedic school. I looked for other posts on this and didn't really find anything....just paramedic textbooks, which I have read. I would really like to expand my knowledge, not just review recently learned info. I have found several topics in the forum very helpful (case studies, LVAD, etc.) More thought provoking posts and reading suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
