Hey everyone, I have an interview today with an EMS branch based out of the local hospital. It's a single rig station that responds to all of the 911 calls for the surrounding county (rural area).
I did my "internships" with this company for both my basic and intermediate course so the supervisor and most of the medics are familiar with me. However, I have next to no "real" experience in EMS, and despite doing extremely well grade wise in both classes, graduating at the top of my class in both basic/intermediate, I worry that I may get in over my head . I want to do well and learn as much as I possibly can, but the actual skills portion of the job has always given me a bit of trouble (damn IV starts :glare
.
I guess I'm just looking for a bit of advice from seasoned medics as how I should go about making the most of this opportunity.
