Renewing NJ EMT-B Cert after expiration

Hello.

I have an EMT-B cert in NJ that expires today (June 30th). I have not been active as an EMT for two years, and only have four CEUs. However, I do want to retain the cert. I know I have to take a core 13 class, but do I also have to get my 20 additional CEUs or retake the state test? Is there a time limit to get this done.

I might never use it again, but I want to keep my options open.

Call their office and ask them what to do. Likely you have to file for an extension, but it might be too late for that. Let us know what they say.
