renewal question

I 'm aFlorida EMT-B and am currently employed. I took my NREMT in Feb. of this year and my state liscence is dated 2/13/08 and states it expires 12/1/08. My NREMT card says it expires 3/31/2010. why are they different? Do I have to gt my ceu's by the date on my state card or does my NR card overide it? If someone could help it would be much appreciated.

You happen to get your state card in the renewal year. FL renews every 2 years. You need to contact the state of FL. You may not need CEU's since you finished your class this year. But, only the state can tell you for sure.

No, your NREMT does not override the state cert.

I actually finished class in November but got my cert. in Feb. But I will check with the state. Thanks for the quick reply.
