Protocol Writing Program

Does anyone know of, or use a program for writing protocols? I figure there has to be something out there to help with document design and flow specific to EMS protocols.

We are looking to re-write all of our protocols, and have 2 pages per protocol; one page with a flow chart for quick reference, and a second page with detailed information for reference and education.

We've looked at several agencies (Wake, Durham, KCMO) and would like a nice, uniform design across the document.

Any suggestions welcome.

NPO, I don't know anything about protocol-generation software, but I wrote the protocols for my last agency and was very involved in protocol management for another EMS system. PM me if you want to chat.

We just made a template in MS Word and then once they were written and approved, converted all the pages to a single .pdf file.
