Prepbooks for NREMT-B

Hello guys

A friend of mine finished his EMT-B course in December. He wants to take the exam within the next month, so he was wondering what is a good review book to pass the NREMT-B exam?

He mentioned a few, Mosbys, Kaplan, McGraw-Hill, Barrons or Arco?

Will it be best to read one of those review books first, or just take the practice/review exams on each chapter?

I'm taking the test on Friday myself... as far as the books you mentioned go, I can tell you for sure not to buy the Kaplan book. A friend of mine bought it to help prepare, and we were both amazed at how much material it does not cover, and the practice exams are very very simple. Nothing like what you will see on the NREMT. I'm not sure about the others though. Maybe one of the more experienced people here can help you out with those.
