Personal Blogs?

I've seen a couple personal blogs integrated with other forums i'm a member in. Would be pretty cool to be able to have a personal EMT blog to share stores/information with others on a regular basis without polluting the forums.

One of the problems with that is that blogs are a very one way method of communicating. The blog author controls what is being discussed, and they are the only one that can start new discussions.

Not to mention the fact that it would drive traffic away from the forum and to the blog.

We've actually thought about blogs, but have decided instead to focus on encouraging discussion in the forum.

Many of our members have personal blogs and link to them in their profile.
