I took a 12-month Advanced Bridge RN-Paramedic program through my local community college. I've been an ER/Trauma nurse for years, and I learned a ton in my program. Happy I did it, even happier that it is over! 
I was pleasantly surprised at how straightforward the exam was, unlike the NCLEX years ago! I got my results while driving home, which was a nice surprise.
