Hi everybody, I was going to create a paramedic mentorship program for our BLS personnel who would like to advance to paramedic. Has anybody seen or participated in such a program and if so did you find it beneficial? Any insight, tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Isn't that what naturally happens when you partner an EMT with a medic, so long as the EMT is inquisitive and the medic isn't completely lazy or inept?

I think a structured program of some sort might be decent. We had one for paramedic candidates that didn't have the knowledge base to pass the hiring interview at Sussex. I don't know if it was a help or more of an insult...
