NREMT Recertification from I-85 to back to Basic

I need help understanding how I can Recertify in SC from my intermediate level 85 NREMT to back to basic. Do i just take a NREMT refresher course? my Intermediate for SC expires on Nov. of 2015 but i have been put on license suspension pending i recertify with the NREMT. since they no longer do the I-85 refresher courses and i don't have the money to take the bridger course to the Advanced class can i go back to basic? please help with any information that you can provide, Thanks.
