Hello.
I just took the NREMT-B exam. I was wondering how I get licensed in the state of Illinois now that I have been notified that I passed the exam. Any advice will help!! Thank you!

Contact your state’s EMS board.

And be prepared to wait for weeks, maybe months, and jump through a lot of unnecessary hoops. The entire licensing staff, which I have gathered is only 3 people, are all fairly new,and backlogged.

did you take your EMT class in Illinois, or did you take it in another state?
