Well everyone, about a week and half ago I took my practicals, and passed all but the medical, but I retested and passed it. And on Monday I took my written and passed that with an 81! Out of 15 people who took the test I was one of 5 who passed. I was taking the tests in PA, just at the state level, we're not required to do the national...not yet anyways.

I got all my paperwork yesterday, my certificate, my card and shirt patches.

I am sooo excited about all this I think for right now I will be doing it as volunteer at my fire co to gain expierence, and I also need to get my EVOC.

If you plan to stay with EMS, go to paramedic school now while you can. Don't wait.

Better yet, go to school for a higher medical title. Depends on your goals and ambitions but im assuming you are younger so choose wisely your future depends on it.

thank you! I am leaning towards paramedic school. My ultimate goal is my RN, I wold love to work in the ER and it's pretty easy to go from medic to RN
