I had 2 interviews with my local ambulance company, the first was a one-on-one interview. The second was a panel interview with 3 of my company's VP's as well as a written and agility test. I felt pretty confident about the interviews and agility test but just did not feel good about the written test. They told me that I would hear from them in a few days. They called me about 4 hours after the interview was over and offered me a job. I was thrilled to get the job but also very happy about not having to sit and wait for them to call me. I start in about 2 weeks.

The veteran first responders, EMTs, and medics have a lot to teach you. Listen, and some day you will be able to teach a new EMT a thing or two as well. Even the first responders can teach you a great deal.

Congrats and good luck with the new job.

Congrats! GJ :D
