New here, wanted to say hello

Hey everyone, I've been lurking around for a little while and decided to finally say hello. I start class on Tuesday to get my AEMT certification, I am super excited. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Or if anyone is in the same area as me I would really appreciate some insight on how ems is run around here.

I'm not sure if I'm more excited or nervous! The school I'm going to is 9 months long, but we only go to class every third day for 4 hours. I haven't been in school for 15 years so this should be interesting!

I'm in school Tuesdays and Thursdays for nearly six hours a day. I can't tell if I'm more excited or nervous either. I've been studying all weekend on our first day we have a CPR quiz. I'm going through my community college, and the program is hard to get into so I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have to wait long to get accepted.
