A lifeguard is a qualified appointment that ensures water safety in pools, beaches, and water parks. Monitoring swimmers, preventing accidents, enforcing safety rules, and immediately addressing emergency cases such as drowning or injury form the core duties of such appointments.

As much as lifeguarding is a part of EMS, we do not allow advertising until you have achieved 10 posts, and then we require that such advertising be placed in the appropriate forum. Your link was to your training entity and because this is your first post and that it is in violation of our community rules regarding advertising, I have removed the link. We do invite you to continue participation in this forum as a productive member and invite you to post in the appropriate advertising section once you're at the appropriate forum post count.

Thank you!

I am also not locking this thread as it may encourage a discussion of lifeguarding as a component of EMS.
