How long was your wait ?
 
I am not licensed in NY but from reading other threads, it can take up to 10 weeks.
 
4 to 8 weeks usually the latter.
 
I got mine via reciprocity and it took about 4 weeks from the time I sent in my application.
 
6 weeks for me. This was 2.5 years ago.
