I'm glad I found this forum. I'm going to start my training to become a para medic this summer at the local community college. I'm really excited about it.

I am excited about Paramedic school too! Im just working on my hours towards that.

I don't know what the job situation is here but I wanted to do something and this seemed like a logical step. I have a "knack" for this kind of career so I'm headed that-a-way. I still working on getting all of my vaccinations to be admitted to school. The Veterans Administration is giving most of them to me for free. I register on 15 April. I'm really looking forward to getting started.

Training

I'm plan on starting at the local community college. I understand it will take about two years. Hopefully I start in May.
