It is official in OCEMS Policy #777.00, private Paramedics exist in Orange County, CA. Congratulations to Lynch EMS for conducting a successful pilot program.
For those who don't understand why this is relevant, private Paramedics were not welcome in the OC for the last 30 years. Only by proving their worth to the community and providing excellent care and service were "private" paramedics able to earn their existence. It may only be IFT, but it's a job as a Paramedic in the OC. I'm applying tomorrow!
