I've already searched for this, but did not come back with much. I did find one thread that kind of talked about this, but I wanted to get some more reassurance, basically.
Today, I was emailed a conditional job offer for CARE Ambulance here in Orange County, CA! Woot!
I am only really concerned about the background check, specifically the credit check. I don't really have any crippling debt, I've missed only one single payment since opening my first credit card, I've never maxed a card out, and I only owe roughly 25% of my max credit limit, so will I be okay?
How in depth does CARE go in regards to my credit history?
My main concern at this time is that one of my credit cards has never had a 0 balance, as in I have never completely paid it off, but I've always made at the very least the minimum payments, will this have a great affect on my credit score and/or history?
I apologize if these questions seem trivial to many of you, but I do not have much experience with finances. I've always been a cash or debit man, and I was fortunate to not have to take out loans.
Regardless, any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
